Oh My Japan was founded on Tanabata (July 7), 2012. We chose the date of Tanabata because of its significance as a Japanese holiday about the connections between people.

Until July 14, all members can send messages to two new people per day.
(Normally, free members can only send messages to two new people per week.)

To date, more than 150,000 messages have been exchanged on Oh My Japan.

We hope you are able to make long-lasting connections with Japanese people that will continue for years.
